¿Quién soy? / Who am I?

 ¡Hola!

My name is Diana. I have been teaching Spanish for the past 24 years. Through the years, I have taught different levels of Spanish as a second language and Spanish to native speakers. The classes I have enjoyed the most are AP Spanish Language and Culture. I currently teach three sections of AP Spanish and two sections of second-year Spanish for Spanish Speakers at the high school level.

I acquired my Bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University, and I am currently working on obtaining a Master's degree in Learning, Design & Technology.

In the ever-changing technology era, our classroom lessons need to catch up. This program will give me the tools to embrace the growth of technology and forge ahead in my profession and my personal endeavors. My short vision plan at the end of the program is to take what I learn and pass it on to my colleagues so we can design more interactive lessons for our language students. My long vision is to share ideas to integrate technology in the classroom with educators in Latin America, perhaps in a blog such as this one.
